We've built our apps so that even we can't see what's inside them. Here's what that means in everyday terms.
Think of it like a safe you own
You put something inside, close the door, and keep the only key in your pocket. We look after the delivery van, not the contents — and the van is always carrying a sealed safe.
That idea guides everything we build. If a new feature would mean us being able to read your things, we don't build it.

The rules we hold ourselves to
Only you hold the key
The key that unlocks your things stays on your phone. We never have a copy, so we can't open anything — and can't be asked to.
We keep no diary
No record of who you talked to, what you saved or where you browsed. There's simply nothing to lose or hand over.
Yesterday stays safe
Protection refreshes as you go, so an old conversation can't be unlocked later on.
No spare keys, ever
Some apps just hide your files behind a password. We properly lock them, and there's no back door.
Sharing you control
Send something to someone and it stays protected. You can take access back any time.
